Guido Maria Kretschmer is one of the best known names in German fashion and the partnership with eBay saw him create an exclusive range of designs. We then built the site that allowed users to vote on a shortlist of those 19 designs to decide which 11 would go into production. The designs are now chosen and will be available to buy from the 28th June.

It was a really enjoyable project to be involved in and the launch party was great fun.

eBay BTCC http://www.feed-london.com/post/44/ebay-btcc
The British Touring Car Championship season got underway over the Easter weekend.

eBay Motors has entered a new-look team for 2013 and as a part of that we have been re-designing and updating the eBay Motors microsite, which features content on the team, the Championship and motoring in general.

With a new look and feel to match the new car, a new URL: http://www.ebaymotorshub.co.uk/ and some exciting content planned for the new season, the site is ready for what promises to be a competitive year in the BTCC.

Retsami for iPad http://www.feed-london.com/post/40/retsami-for-ipad

This week sees the launch of the strategic board game Retsami for iPad on the App Store.

We've developed the iPad version of Retsami in partnership with the owner of the board game and we are looking forward to seeing how the public fare at a game which shares a lot in common with popular classics like backgammon and draughts. The concept is fantastically simple; it's a race to the centre of the board with just four rules to obey, but the combination of strategy and skill required to win makes it an addictive and challenging game to play.

It's been a real hands-on development process that began by unpacking the physical version of the board game and learning the rules inside out, in order to work out how to program the AI for the game. Our dev team have played hundreds of games refining the digital version of Retsami - becoming masters of a game that is 'I Master' spelt backwards. The iPad version can be played in 2-player mode, against the computer or against other players online, and there's a tutorial mode to help you improve at the game before challenging our devs to a game!

Download it now on the App Store

After four rousing years we finally ran-out of studio space and have left our much-loved home on Britton Street to set up shop down the road on Vine Hill.

We're really happy in our new home; a glass dome on top of an old warehouse with lots of natural light.

Our new Address is: Feed, 8-14 Vine Hill, Clerkenwell, London, EC1R 5DX

Christmas for eBay http://www.feed-london.com/post/42/christmas-for-ebay
We've just come to the end of the most exciting brief of the year for the most exciting time of the year; Christmas for eBay.

We were asked to lead the design development and create a seasonal identity for use in all sorts of interesting settings: from a 'container city' pop-up shop in London and TV adverts in Berlin, mobile and social media across Europe, to PR events and physical baubles to decorate the eBay offices' trees.

It was great to see it leave the studio and appear in so many different guises and locations.

eBay + Nectar http://www.feed-london.com/post/43/ebay-+-nectar
eBay recently launched it's customer loyalty programme in the UK in partnership with the biggest loyalty brand in the UK: Nectar.

For the launch of the partnership we were asked to develop it's co-brand, design collateral and communication strategy. The work can now be seen in a variety of settings including a 5 second tag-on to eBay's current TV advertising; a first and exciting execution for us.

The loyalty programme went live in October and the results exceeded everyone's expectations.

We're now in a process of developing and refining the brand; more on that to come.

Ewan McGregor: Cold Chain Mission http://www.feed-london.com/post/39/ewan-mcgregor:-cold-chain-mission

'Ewan McGregor: Cold Chain Mission' is a two-part documentary following the actor and UNICEF ambassador as he travels 'the cold chain'; the route vaccines take across often challenging and remote terrain, on route to immunising children against deadly but preventable diseases.

As part of their involvement with the documentary UNICEF asked if we could design and build a digital companion piece that would feature more information on the cold chain.

A change in TV scheduling left us just a week to create a set of interactive maps that follow the route Ewan McGregor and the team take that shows the challenges, hazards and inspiring people and stories they encounter on the way. You can see them here:

Android for AkzoNobel http://www.feed-london.com/post/37/android-for-akzonobel

Over the past few months we've been busy working on a new project for AkzoNobel, delivering an Android app framework for their global paint brands.

So far we've delivered nine variations to Google Play, for brands as diverse as Glidden in the US, Dulux in China and Alba in Argentina.

The app allows you to browse the paints available in your market, pick a paint colour from your photos, build colour schemes with suggestions and create a shopping list, once you're ready you can use the app to find your nearest store to collect your paint.

The 100k Club http://www.feed-london.com/post/36/the-100k-club

Selling colours as a means to raise funds for Unicef is the purpose of Own a Colour. The campaign exists to raise as much money as possible, so it's with some delight that we watched the on site counter tick towards, then over, £100,000.

£100,000 is a real landmark and great number to hit when you consider that the minimum donation to buy a colour is just £1.

So many thanks to those who have already bought - or gifted a colour. This though, is no time to rest on laurels; there are 16.7 million colours for sale so Own a Colour has just scratched the surface. While £100k is great news that we're glad to share, we and all involved in the project want it to be a start point not an end point; we'd love to see another zero added to the total so Own a Colour now.
